Pam helped where she could. For example last year we were starting a community café and mentioned our need of tables and chairs. Whereupon Pam put us in touch with a garden centre near her and Anthony, who she knew were refreshing their furniture. She was reliable in follow up and they kindly let us have their old stock that we could refurbish.
Latterly we admired her strength and cheerfulness in the face of her illness. She set a good example and we will miss her friendship.
